Al Brown, PTA, has dedicated more than 25 years to helping people move better, feel better, and regain quality of life. He has operated his own physical therapy practice since 1999 and is the owner of Al Brown’s Holistic Healing Centers of Michigan.

Legally blind, Al has developed an extraordinary sense of touch that helps him identify areas of restriction, imbalance, and dysfunction within the body. He earned his associate degree in Applied Science and Physical Therapist Assistant Studies from Macomb Community College in 1995 and has since completed extensive training in therapeutic techniques across the country.

Al is certified in Integrative Manual Therapy (IMT) and Matrix Energetics. He is also among a limited number of PTs and PTAs certified through IMT to work with individuals experiencing autism and vision-related disorders. His approach may incorporate craniosacral therapy, myofascial release, muscle-energy techniques, and strain-counterstrain techniques.

What began as a small, self-pay practice in Al’s home has grown into a welcoming healing center serving people with a wide range of complex and persistent health concerns. Through highly personalized care—and plenty of humor and music—Al creates a relaxed environment where every person is seen, heard, and treated as a whole.
